Forklifts are really versatile machinery. A variety of different accessories can be fitted onto the machines in order to increase their capabilities and expand the tasks they are regularly able to complete. Some of the major different forklift accessories and parts are described below.
Fork Extensions
The fork extensions describe the forks on the forklift. These forks are able to be changed entirely, or different parts can be added to them so the truck could raise a variety of different types of loads like for example telescopic loads, baskets, rollers, amongst others.
Forklift Seals and Bearings
The seals and bearings are particular forklift components which enable the inner workings of the machine to operate in an optimum and efficient manner. Bearings enable two moving components of the machine to work together smoothly, without any friction. If not correctly fitted, seals and bearings can occasionally break and wear down and these components may need to be replaced occasionally. If a bearing is the correct type of bearing for the equipment and it is fitted correctly, this forklift part can easily outlive the life expectancy of the whole machinery.
Cabs
The forklift's cab is the part of the machinery where the operator sits and performs maneuvers. The cab could be open or it may have a roof, depending on the specific unit. On a work site, this forklift component normally has a roof to comply with safety measures and minimize the risk of falling materials.
Brake Forklift Parts
Forklifts trucks have brakes that are required to be frequently checked in order to ensure they are in good working condition. usually, these components will need to be replaced due to extended wear or damage.
Wheels and Tires
The forklifts tires and wheels are the components most normally damaged. Problems occur due to punctures from sharp things on the floor and slashes from uneven and rough floor boards.
These rugged forklifts are powered by Nissan industrial engines. Better horsepower and greater torque satisfy a range of recycling, warehouse and manufacturing applications as well as other outdoor/indoor situations.
The forklifts made by Nissan are offered in liquid propane or LP, or Dual Fuel with LP/ gas. These machinery also come with a fuel management system which provides excellent fuel efficiency and reduced CO, NOx and HC exhaust emissions. Every compact unit comes standard with the comprehensive engine protection system. This system is in place in order to warn operators in the event of of a severe drop in oil pressure or too much heat. This specific system provides extended drive engine life and train life for your lift truck investment.
Operator Comfort and Control
There is a lot of foot, head and leg room built into each and every operator compartment and is versatile enough to deal with different sized drivers. The forklift offers a standard full suspension seat that has hip restraint and soft touch arm pads to provide utmost operator comfort and enhanced safety. The model's low profile design provides plenty of head clearance. There is also a front to back travel adjustment to allow a customized fit in order to accommodate practically any operator height.
Nissan's K-series engines offer the same proven bottom by-pass cooling system and block design like the H-Series engine, its' predecessor. These improved and new engines are specially designed and tested for industrial use so as to give all of the power and torque, in the low rpm range, to meet the requirements of the operation.
The K21engine includes a transmission/engine warning system and protection that is an additional safety measure which is added for your investment. It helps by decreasing the speed in the event of excessive heat generation or low oil pressure.
